The NETWORK identified eight priority areas:
Circle of Care
To improve the quality of life for urban Indigenous people of Montreal by addressing youth protection and safety through networking and advocacy.
To improve the quality of life for urban Indigenous people of Montreal by addressing homelessness through networking and advocacy.
To improve the quality of life for urban Indigenous people of Montreal by addressing the justice system through networking and advocacy.
Identify and define the common needs among young Indigenous people and the organizations that work with youth in Greater Montreal area and invite them to create realistic solutions.
Circle of Employability & Education
Ensure that all urban Indigenous people living in Montreal have access to programs and services that will enable them to reach their full professional and academic potential.
Empowering the Indigenous community by working together toward healing our mental, physical, emotional and spiritual (cultural, religious and traditional) health.
Develop a sense of belonging amongst the Indigenous people in the greater Montreal area by affirming and promoting the diversity and plenitude of Indigenous art and culture.
Develop and ensure successful strategies to facilitate external and internal communications of the NETWORK and increase its visibility
