Events for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

22 September 2025
Events

Whether you refer to it as National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, or Orange Shirt Day, September 30th is a day for both reflection and remembrance. It is a day for members of the Indigenous community, and allies, to come together to honor the survivors of residential schools as well as those who didn’t make it out, to acknowledge the painful history of colonization, and for allies to renew their commitment to reconciliation and justice. This day serves as a powerful opportunity to reflect on the ongoing impact of colonialism, and to stand in solidarity with Indigenous communities on their journey towards healing.

If you are seeking to gather in community, or you wish to offer your support as an ally, you will find below the events and activities which you can take part in.
