NISKA
Indigenous-serving program
NISKA, which means “goose” in the Atikamekw language, is a space specially designed for Indigenous students. Part of the Bureau de l’inclusion et de la réussite étudiante (Office of Inclusion and Student Success), NISKA offers a place to study, meet and unwind, as well as a culturally safe environment. We invite you to come to NISKA not only to study, but also to relax between classes, organize study meetings, tutorials, committees or social events.
Located in A-M815 of the Pavilion Hubert-Aquin, close to the cafeteria and the central library, the premises are equipped with four computer workstations, a checkroom, comfortable armchairs and a common area with refrigerator, coffee machine and microwave oven. To guarantee the security of the premises, access is via a card reader.
