Watershed is a transformative dance camp designed exclusively for Indigenous youth aged 12 to 16.
This 10-week program will explore different dance styles such as contemporary, Powwow, hip-hop, hoop and more! We’ll create an exciting youth-led project, culminating in a performance on a real stage. This experience will offer participants a unique opportunity to showcase their talents and creativity in a professional setting. If you’re looking for a fun and creative opportunity to have a blast and help put on a phenomenal end-of-year show, while making new friends… this is for you!
Watershed strives to create a safe space for Indigenous youth to explore the performing arts. The program encourages the participation of 2-spirit, trans, non-binary and gender-diverse youth. All teachers and dancers participating in this program are Indigenous.
