Garden and Greenhouse Project

Indigenous program

As a program of the Indigenous Health Centre of Tiohtià:ke, the Garden and Greenhouse Project aims to improve the health outcomes, quality of life and social determinants of health of Indigenous people in Montreal.

The project aims to break isolation and to foster community connections. By increasing our ability to grow food for the community, we also build community resilience.

Participants will be able to acquire knowledge on plant identification, traditional food, medicine, planting, harvesting, etc.

The garden and the greenhouse are spaces for learning, healing, and connecting.

Children accompanied by an adult are welcomed.
