McGill University Health Centre (MUHC)
Non-Indigenous organization
The McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) is an academic health network, and one of the largest and most modern in North America.
Our mandate is to provide tertiary and quaternary care to the population of Montreal and Quebec. In other words, care that requires hospitalization, complex surgery, emergency intervention or specialized treatment. In addition to providing services in French, the MUHC is designated to offer services to patients in English.
The INDex was created to support First Nations, Inuit and Métis in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal in finding relevant and up-to-date information on services that were created specifically for them. Our goal is to promote cultural safety and community connectedness.
If you are an Indigenous person living, moving to or visiting Tiohtià:ke, the INDex can support you in your steps!
