Centre étudiant des Premiers Peuples des Services à la vie étudiante

Indigenous-serving program

Non-Indigenous organization

The mandate of the Centre étudiant des Premiers Peuples (CEPP) des Services à la vie étudiante is to contribute to the recognition, development and success of members of the Indigenous student community at the Université de Montréal.
The Centre offers tailor-made support to meet the needs of Indigenous students by creating and leading socio-cultural activities, referring them to the appropriate services and offering them a space of cultural safety, the Salon Uatik (which means den in Innu), a space reserved for Indigenous students. This space is intended to be a welcoming place that encourages socialization, networking and successful integration into the UdeM community.

The mission of the Services à la vie étudiante is to support students in their study projects and to help them succeed. To this end, Student Life Services, in collaboration with its partners, creates optimal conditions for members of the student community, to help them succeed in their studies and enjoy a rewarding student experience.

If, at any time during your studies, you need a listening ear, support or advice, don’t hesitate to contact the professionals at Student Life Services, who are there to support you throughout your time at the University. More than twenty services are available: student experience, health and well-being, study support, financial aid and employment and cultural workshops.
