Community Shuttle

Indigenous program

The objective of the PAQ shuttle project is to offer an alternative means of transportation on the island of Montreal for First Nations, Métis and Inuit community members experiencing homelessness.

A minibus-type vehicle accommodating up to 13 passengers will propose different routes throughout the territory. A driver and an outreach worker will always be present during opening hours. They will ensure on-board safety (using surveillance cameras) while building a bond of trust with service users.

The shuttle follows a route to take people between the resources they need (hospitals, shelters, etc.). The shuttle can also make on-call trips to the airport or other resources.
