A First Nation Status Card may be required to access this program.
An Inuit beneficiary card (N Number) may be required to access this program.
A Métis Citizenship Card may be required to access this program
We offer school guidance and liaison services for children and adults, and for all grade levels.
Whether it’s finding funding for specialized services, exploring available schools and programs, submitting applications to institutions or getting advice, our team can help!
Here are some of the other things we do on a regular basis:
- School registration and applications for post-secondary education
- Assistance in obtaining English eligibility certificate
- Private assessment and therapy for learning disabilities
- Navigation and orientation in the school system
- Assistance in finding and applying for scholarships and bursaries
- Assistance in finding student housing and services
- Legal support and advocacy related to access to education
- Tutoring for students of all ages, all subjects, online or in person, and for students with special needs and disabilities
By participating in this program, you will also have access to :
- Office equipment: computer, printer, fax, wi-fi and telephone
- Childcare service while you complete your activities related to the program
- Listening and referrals
These services are intended for Indigenous peoples
The INDex was created to support First Nations, Inuit and Métis in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal in finding relevant and up-to-date information on services that were created specifically for them. Our goal is to promote cultural safety and community connectedness.
