Front-line Workers
Indigenous program
Frontline Workers will ensure that Nunavik Inuit community members catch their flights on time, assist them with check-in upon arrival at the airport, help them get to the gate, and ensure they do not put themselves in a vulnerable situation. If they miss their flight, they will find them accommodation and rebook the flight. This will prevent Inuit community members from sleeping at the airport.
They will also help community members in the Dorval area with prevention advice, if they are in a vulnerable situation, refer them to available services including emergency housing, transition housing and health services. You can call Frontline Workers if you need help providing services to an Inuit community member.
