Indigenous program
The Life Skills (LifeSkills) program is a life skill and self-confidence development program for PAQ community members with four objectives:
1. To help foster a sense of community,
2. To acquire new skills,
3. To build confidence and self-esteem,
4. To connect or reconnect with native culture.
- Cultural workshops and activities
- Support Group
- Skills development workshops
Participants can also have access to :
- Meals
- Listening and referrals
- Well-being follow-up
- Restorative justice program
- Traditional food on occasion
- Holistic and traditional care
- Elder’s support
- Help with taxes
The INDex was created to support First Nations, Inuit and Métis in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal in finding relevant and up-to-date information on services that were created specifically for them. Our goal is to promote cultural safety and community connectedness.
