What is a Mobile Clinic?
Mobile Clinics are held approximately once a month at various Indigenous organizations in Montreal. Indigenous workers are there to accompany you, and representatives from several governmental agencies and community organization are on site to assist you.
Get help in obtaining:
- A birth certificate
- A secure status card
- Registration with Indigenous Services Canada
- A Nunavik Inuit beneficiary card
- A Quebec health insurance card
- Registration for drug insurance
- A social insurance number
- Non-insured health benefits (NIHB)
- Information about your taxes
- Canada Child Benefit and Family Allowance
- Maternity, paternity, parental, and adoption benefits
- Retirement benefits
- Job search support
- On-site recruitment for student summer jobs and permanent jobs
- Financial assistance of last resort (welfare / social aid)
- A library card for Montreal libraries
- A Welcome Baby Box
- And more!
Bring your ID and any documents you have.
Food and drinks will be served on site!
