Montreal Service Center
Indigenous program
A proof of status, a beneficiary number or of Métis Citizenship is necessary to access this programs.
The employment and training service center offers support in finding employment, returning to school and starting a business for registered Indigenous individuals who have been in Montreal for more than 30 days.
Participants have access to an ongoing follow-up and financial support. All services are culturally adapted. Participants who leave their community can also benefit from transition support and transportation.
Our skills development workshops focus on employment skills, such as self-esteem and CV writing.
We also offer support in finding low-cost housing and help with identity documents.
If you don’t have proof of Indian status, Inuit beneficiary or Métis citizenship, we may ask you for other supporting documents.
