Indigenous program
The role of the Youth Coordinator is to coordinate and oversee the implementation of the Quebec Native Women’s Youth Action Plan, organize youth activities and events, expand the network of contacts of young Indigenous women in Quebec and Canada and to defend the interests of young Indigenous women within governmental and non-governmental facilities.
Through a youth council, participants share their vision and perspective on what is happening in their communities, and inform the Youth Action Plan.
This program is meant for Youth Women aged 18 to 35.

Skills development workshops include, but are not limited to: public speaking, advocating for rights, representation and politics, employability and job related skills, healthy lifestyles, reducing violence towards youth women, reducing injustices and inequalities.
Participants may also have access to:
- Help with transportation
- Meals, and traditional food on occasions
- Elder’s support
- Holistic and traditional care
- Listening and referrals
