Support for People in Treatment and Recovery From Cancer

Indigenous program

Many people in our community have gone through cancer. It is hard, frightening, physically and emotionally challenging. Working in collaboration with the West Island Cancer and Wellness Centre we facilitate and support your access to supportive care during cancer treatment and for up to a year after treatment. The WICWC has a range of supportive therapies, training, nutritional, arts and physical rehabilitation courses and programs. Qavvivik is working with WICWC to adapt their programs to Inuit realities. Soon we hope to be offering interpretation services for the community as well. Please call or send us a message.
