5. The Akhwà:tsire House

A proof of status, a beneficiary number or of Métis Citizenship is necessary to access this programs.
Designed as a culturally adapted residence, the Akhwà:tsire House offers 22 permanent housing units arranged around three common living spaces (living room, kitchen, dining room). Residents can take advantage of on-site medical and nursing care, mental health support, regular visits from Elders from the PAQ Indigenous community, as well as nature and cultural activities.
