The Roundhouse Café – Tier 1

Indigenous-serving program

Non-Indigenous organization

The mission of the Roundhouse Café is to promote social diversity and empowerment among Indigenous peoples. The program is in line with the mission and values of Groupe communautaire L’Itinéraire. With its vision of a human approach to long-term accompaniment, L’Itinéraire is helping vulnerable Indigenous people to heal and build a “good life”, an indigenous concept referring to a balanced and harmonious life with oneself and with others.

The Round House Program – Tier 1: Shift work paid in cash, at minimum wage, paid per day. Participants also receive a free meal.

  • Accompaniment: For study / employment
  • Location: People who come to the Roundhouse Café, even if they don’t work there, can access free food (meal cards and food distribution). Note also that several intervention workers from other organizations are regularly on the premises, and that it’s a place where you can connect with the Indigenous community (meetings, bulletin boards, etc.).
  • Schedule: Our schedules change regularly. Check our website for the most up-to-date schedules.
