Youth on the Land
Indigenous program
A First Nation Status Card may be required to access this program.
An Inuit beneficiary card (N Number) may be required to access this program.
A Métis Citizenship Card may be required to access this program.
Land-based workshops for Indigenous youth aged 14 to 30 years old from the Greater Montreal area. Facilitation is Indigenous, with support from culturally secure, non Indigenous staff.
An opportunity to connect with the land, knowledge keepers, culture, and traditions while developing wilderness skills through on-the-land outings and activities.
Both fun and challenging, no prior wilderness or traditional skills or experience required.
Space is limited and transportation will be offered.

By participating, youth will have access to :
- Meals and snacks
- Traditional food, on occasion
- Listening and support
The INDex was created to support First Nations, Inuit and Métis in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal in finding relevant and up-to-date information on services that were created specifically for them. Our goal is to promote cultural safety and community connectedness.
