Permanent, full-time position | Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM | Start date: November 3, 2025
Location: PAQ2 – 2060 Saint-Dominique Street, Montreal

PAQ, an Indigenous organization in Montreal, supports First Nations, Inuit, and Métis people in precarious situations by providing shelter, housing, and services that promote well-being, healing, and reconciliation.

Under the supervision of the clinical services manager, the psychosocial worker provides guidance and clinical support to shelter participants using a culturally appropriate and trauma-informed approach.

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychosocial support (assessment, intervention plan, support, follow-up).
  • Refer participants to community resources and partners.
  • Manage clinical and statistical records.
  • Intervene in crisis situations as needed.

Required profile:

  • 2 years of experience in social work or a related field (Indigenous community experience an asset).
  • College diploma or bachelor’s degree in social work or equivalent.
  • Bilingualism (English required, functional French; Indigenous language an asset).
  • Knowledge of Indigenous intergenerational realities and trauma.
  • Empathy, integrity, team spirit, and adaptability.
  • First aid certificate (an asset).
