Position type: Permanent, full-time
Salary: $30.85 to $36.30/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9AM to 4PM (some evenings during events)
Location: Montreal, near the Champ-de-Mars metro station — remote work possible 1 to 2 days/week after 6 months

About PAQ
PAQ (Projets Autochtones du Québec) supports First Nations, Inuit, and Métis people living in precarious situations in Montreal. Our mission: to defend the rights to housing and health through a human, cultural, and community-based approach.

Your role
As a philanthropic development advisor, you will help promote PAQ’s mission by developing our funding sources and maintaining strong relationships with our donors and partners.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and retaining donors;
  • Organizing at least two annual fundraising events;
  • Write grant applications and follow up on them;
  • Propose innovative funding strategies.

Required profile

  • Degree in communications, marketing, administration, or a related field;
  • Experience in philanthropy, fundraising, or event planning;
  • Excellent communication skills, creativity, and attention to detail;
  • Sensitivity to Indigenous realities and a collaborative spirit;
  • Fluency in English is essential.
