Building and Operations Coordinator
Position type: Permanent, full-time
Salary: $28.10 to $33.06 per hour

Position overview
Reporting to the Building and Operations Manager, the Coordinator is responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of PAQ’s buildings and facilities. Present and active on-site, they help ensure that all spaces offered to participants are safe, clean, and welcoming.
Main responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and carry out repairs on buildings
- Oversee maintenance work and supervise suppliers and janitorial teams
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire prevention standards
- Manage keys, supplies, inventory, and service contracts
- Provide administrative support and prepare reports
- Respond to emergencies outside of regular working hours
Profile required
- Education: College diploma (DEC) or vocational diploma (DEP) in a relevant field
- Experience: Significant experience in at least three of the following areas:
- Building Maintenance, Inventory Management, Health and Safety, Fire safety, Supplier Relations, or General Security

Skills:
- Basic building maintenance and repair abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Languages: Fluent French, functional English required
- Other: Valid driver’s license and ability to lift over 20 kg (40 lbs)
