Did you know that Cabot Square has long been a gathering place for
the Inuit community in Montreal?

The Cabot Square Project was launched in 2014 by the Native Women’s Shelter of Montreal (NWSM) with support from the Borough of Ville-Marie.

This initiative was created in response to the displacement of Indigenous people in downtown Montreal, and continues to provide support, safety, and advocacy for vulnerable populations in and around Cabot Square. We are seeking specific donations for our unhoused community members to help meet their material needs when nearby services are closed :
