Youth Educator – Champions of the Future Reporting to Youth Coordination
Organization’s Mission:
Our mission is to support the holistic health, cultural strength, and success of Indigenous families, individuals, and communities in the Greater Montreal area. Montréal Autochtone is a nonprofit, multi-service, community-based organization offering cultural and psychosocial intervention programs for Indigenous people of all age groups. We are proud members of the Friendship Centre movement.
The Champions of the Future program, designed for Indigenous youth who have outgrown children’s programming, offers a summer focused on personal growth and skill development.
The educator, in collaboration with the youth facilitator, will provide daily mentorship to participants. The goal is to nurture them into future community contributors and knowledge keepers. Youth will take part in structured programming developed by the Youth Program Coordinator in partnership with Indigenous Elders and knowledge keepers.
