Call for submissions – Creation of a stained glass artwork by an Indigenous artist
The Macdonald Stewart Foundation, in collaboration with the McCord Stewart Museum, is issuing a call for proposals to First Nations artists. This initiative is under the patronage of the Honorable Manon Jeannotte, Lieutenant Governor of Quebec.
This project aims to create a stained-glass window that will be permanently installed in the Church of Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul in Brouage, France. With this 10th stained-glass window, the church will welcome, for the very first time, a work created by an Indigenous artist.
Deadline: May 18, 2026
Applications must be sent to: appel-artistes@mccord-stewart.ca
