New NETWORK Opportunity Available: 2026 Call for Funding Requests is Now Open
The Montreal Indigenous Community NETWORK is excited to announce the launch of a new funding opportunity designed to help bring impactful ideas to life and support initiatives that truly matter to Indigenous community members in Tiohtià:ke. Through this pilot funding opportunity, the NETWORK aims to empower organizations and grassroots groups by providing resources that foster community-driven change. By investing in projects that reflect the priorities of Indigenous peoples, this opportunity seeks to nurture innovation and create lasting, positive impact across communities in Tiohtià:ke.

Who can apply
- Indigenous-led organizations (see definition in Annex 1 of the application form)
- Indigenous-serving organizations working in active partnership with Indigenous organizations (letter of support required)
- Your organization must serve Indigenous people in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal
Projects Supported
- Cultural safety & Indigenous leadership
- Youth empowerment & life transitions
- Elders, seniors & intergenerational connection
- Housing, safety & wellness
- Employment, education & economic stability
- Collaboration & collective impact
- Indigenous organizational strengthening
Funding details
Funding amount: $10,000–$20,000 per project, per year
Funding duration: 1 year (multi-year funding up to 2 years available if justified in your application)
Grants available: Approximately 5–10 organizations will be funded this round
Applications open: May 12th, 2026
Deadline: June 12th, 2026
Funding period: 2026–2027
