National Indigenous Peoples’ Day
Indigenous Peoples’ Day is a time for celebration, reflection, and honoring the enduring presence and cultures of the original stewards of these lands, today called Canada. It is also a day for visibility, where our communities can celebrate with pride the multitudes of traditions that shaped who they are today.
The NETWORK invites everyone, Indigenous community members and allies, to come together and take part in the many activities and events that will be happening throughout Tiohtià:ke in honor of Indigenous Peoples’ Day.
Whether you are joining to reconnect with your roots, to show your support, or to learn about the cultures that have flourished here for thousands of years, there is something for everyone.
