Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Location: PAQ 2 – 2060 Saint-Dominique Street, Montreal, Quebec, H2X 2×1

Job Objectives:

Under the supervision of the Services Coordinator, the program worker is responsible for welcoming, guiding, and supporting Indigenous men and women in need who are seeking housing at Projets Autochtones du Québec (PAQ). By fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment, the staff member works with residents based on their needs, while contributing to community life and ensuring the smooth operation of the services provided. This position requires an approach centered on empathy, collaboration, and interventions tailored to Indigenous realities.

*At PAQ, although French is the primary working language, many of the Indigenous clients we serve speak their native language first and English as a second language, with French rarely being used. To provide effective support, proficiency in English is required for this position. This requirement is based solely on the nature of the duties and the need to communicate effectively with our clients, in accordance with Quebec’s language laws.
