Spring Gathering
The Montreal Indigenous Community NETWORK turned 10 years old in November and, to celebrate, community members and partners were invited to our Spring Gathering! The Gathering was an ideal opportunity for information sharing, relationship building and strengthening community connections.
We also took the opportunity to present the NETWORK’s 2018+ Strategic Directions, a plan outlining our priorities for the next 5 years. The reflections that informed the drafting of the Strategic Orientations came from over 6 months of consultation with community members and partners. We reflected together on the lessons learned over the past 10 years, on the recurring challenges and on the wishes for the future.
