Thinking of becoming a foster family?

Several Indigenous foster families are being sought to offer short-term or long-term care to children in need, predominantly for children aged 0-8 years old. If you are Indigenous or are very well acquainted with the Indigenous community, are 25+ years old, single or a couple, with or without children, and are interested in learning more about how to become a foster family for First Nations and Inuit children in Tiohtià:ke, please contact Batshaw Youth and Family Centres at 514-989-1885 ext. 1139.

Note: To express your interest, please leave a message on our voicemail with your full name and contact details. A caseworker will call you back as soon as possible to schedule a phone call. If you meet all the eligibility requirements, you will be invited to an information night.
