Special showing of the documentary film “Bad River”

The Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa have done more than any other group to shut down North America’s most dangerous tar sands pipeline, Enbridge Line 5. When they/we finally succeed, we will pass a milestone in the fight for a livable future, from just preventing certain *new* pipelines (Energy East, Keystone XL, etc.) to rolling back *existing* fossil fuel infrastructure.

Actor Edward Norton narrates the English-language film, with French subtitles. We’re showing the documentary in the riding of Minister of Foreign Affairs Joly, who launched a treaty dispute with the US to keep this decrepit pipeline running through the heart of the Great Lakes. We are welcoming two Bad River members for a post-film discussion.
