Become a Coordinator at the First Peoples Student Center

The mission of Université de Montréal’s Student Life Services (SVÉ) is to support students in their educational projects and to help them succeed. To do so, Student Life Services, in collaboration with its partners, creates optimal conditions for members of the student community to foster the success of their study projects and an enriching student experience. The mandate of the First Peoples Student Centre is to contribute to the recognition, development and success of members of the Indigenous student community at the Université de Montréal.

In collaboration with all Student Life Services sectors and partners involved at UdeM, the incumbent will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a dialogue between the various institutional players concerned with the current and potential First Peoples student community, both inside and outside UdeM. She will identify the needs of UdeM’s Indigenous students and carry out the projects required to better serve them, while promoting cultural safety and a sense of inclusion.

Information on this position

  • Temporary position – maternity leave replacement
  • Entry into service no later than April 21, 2025
  • Possibility of teleworking two days a week (depending on the time of year)
  • The person may be required to work outside office hours.
