
Indigenous Knowledge Holder Events: Katsi Cook
We are pleased to invite you to two special events featuring Katsi Cook, a renowned Indigenous midwife, environmentalist, and women’s health advocate, as part of the ISCEI Knowledge Holder Series.

Katsi Cook (Wolf Clan) is a member of the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe, the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne, and the Mohawk Nation Longhouse. A prominent midwife, environmentalist, and Indigenous women’s health advocate, her work demonstrates a life-long career of expanding the reach of Indigenous Knowledge. In 2008, she co-founded the National Council of Indigenous Midwives and currently serves as Executive Director of the Spirit Aligned Leadership Program.
