This international symposium brings together Inuit organizations, youth, artists and the academic community to explore the diverse implications and expressions of gender in the Arctic across various domains, including academia, the arts, community outreach, popular culture, and Indigenous knowledge systems.
We’ll dive into powerful themes including:
- Social and cultural reproduction and empowerment
- Knowledge transmission
- Youth Leadership
- Family roles
- Land and hunting
- Decolonization
This event is FREE and open to all — come in person or attend online.
