CALL FOR APPLICATIONS – INDIGENOUS INTERNSHIPS
As part of the production of a new dramatic television series, scheduled to be filmed next summer/fall, Nish Media is pleased to announce the search for several Indigenous interns. These internships are intended for individuals who wish to discover the television industry, develop their skills, and gain their first hands-on experience on a large-scale production.
Opportunities will be available across several departments, both creative and administrative, including:
Departments
- Directing
- Production
- Art Direction
- Camera and Sound Department
- Costume Design
- Editing and Post-Production
Ideal Candidate
- Individuals who identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, or Métis)
- Interest in creative work, television, and teamwork
- Motivation, curiosity, and a willingness to learn
- No prior experience required for certain internships
Conditions
- Paid internships (in accordance with current standards)
- Duration varies depending on the department
Work locations will be in the Gatineau and Upper Gatineau regions
