Mamowi : Indigenous Audiovisual Industry Gathering
Wapikoni offers you a networking opportunity, to learn and exchange with other emerging filmmakers and First Nations members of the audiovisual industry.
WHERE: Montreal, Qc
WHEN: From Thursday November 21st to Saturday November 23rd inclusively. (If you’re coming from out of town, please make sure to have time to travel before and after these dates.)
Mamowi (“Together” in Atikamekw) is a gathering event to learn and expand your knowledge of the audiovisual field, to attend workshops and Wapikoni’s 20th anniversary celebratory event!
SELECTION CRITERIA:
-Be at least 18 years old (as of Nov. 1st, 2024);
-Be a member of an indigenous community & live in Canada;
-Demonstrate your commitment in your creative projects (Ex.: You participated to our mobile and/or virtual creative studios, and/or our professional developement activities).
Wapikoni will take care of your transportation, accommodation and meals.
