Recruitment of Indigenous foster families for Indigenous children/youth in care

Cozy nests needed!  

Indigenous foster families are currently being sought to offer short-term or long-term care to a 2-year-old Cree child, an Inuk baby, two Inuit sisters as well as an Inuit sibling group of 3.

If you are Indigenous or are very well acquainted with the Indigenous community, are 25 years old and over, single or a couple, with or without children, and are interested in learning about becoming a foster parent for First Nations and Inuit children, please contact Batshaw Youth and Family Centres at (514) 932-7161 ext. 1139.
