
Shuttle Support Worker
Status: Permanent, part-time (Monday to Friday, 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.)
Salary: $25.38/hour
PAQ is looking for a Support Worker to assist Indigenous people experiencing homelessness aboard its shuttle. Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the person will be responsible for welcoming passengers, ensuring safety, providing guidance, and building trust with users, in collaboration with the driver and community partners.
Who we’re looking for:
- Experience in social work, outreach, or a related helping profession
- Understanding of Indigenous realities and a strong commitment to reconciliation
- Compassionate, self-directed, respectful, and ethically grounded
- Proficient in English; functional in French (Indigenous languages are a strong asset)
