Talent Recruiter
What if your next role gave you a real foot in the door of recruitment, in an environment where things actually move?
At Air Canada, we’re looking for an Indigenous person to join the talent acquisition team in an operational, hands-on, and learning-focused recruitment role.
This is a 12-month contract, with the possibility of renewal.
If you want a role where you’re in the thick of it, managing multiple files at once, following up diligently, and contributing to smooth day-to-day recruitment operations — this position is for you!
Based in Ville Saint-Laurent in-office 4 days a week, with Fridays remote.
This role might be a great fit if:
- You like when the days go by fast and files keep moving forward.
- You can juggle multiple priorities at once without losing track.
- You follow up closely, like things to be clear, and don’t let details slip through the cracks.
- You’re comfortable talking to all kinds of people, asking questions, following up, coordinating, and maintaining quality of service even when volume is high.
- You may not have 10 years of recruitment experience, but you learn quickly, you’re reliable, and you can build confidence fast in a structured role.
- You might also love this position if you come from customer service, coordination, administration, operations support, advisory sales, or any role where you need to be organized, responsive, and comfortable with people.
Where You Could Thrive Here
You might really enjoy this role if you’re looking for a position that lets you build real, hands-on experience in recruitment.
Here, you’ll touch the true day-to-day of the profession: tracking applications, coordinating with hiring managers, pre-screening, connecting with candidates, using recruitment tools, sourcing, and supporting multiple hiring needs at the same time.
In other words: if you like being in action, contributing in a tangible way, and learning by doing — there’s something very solid to build here.
What We’re Really Looking For
More than a “perfect” profile, we’re looking for someone who brings:
- Organization
- Attention to detail and thoroughness
- Strong interpersonal ease
- A proactive attitude

Important: This position requires recruiting across all Canadian provinces. French-English bilingualism is required.
