Administrative and Operations Coordinator – Part-Time
Native Women’s Shelter of Montreal (NWSM)
Location: Confidential (Downtown Montreal)
Hours: 25–30 hrs/week
Salary: $26–$28/hr
Languages: Bilingual (English & French required)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the shelter and administrative offices
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, contractors, and service contracts
  • Track maintenance requests and ensure safety compliance (CNESST, fire safety)
  • Manage office/facility supplies and support renovation logistics
  • Provide administrative support (scheduling, minutes, documentation, correspondence)
  • Assist with vendor quotes, selection, and procurement
  • Liaise between management, staff, and contractors
  • Maintain inspection, safety, and operational records

Requirements:

  • DEC or Bachelor’s in administration/operations (or related field)
  • 2–3 years experience in administration, operations, or facility coordination
  • Renovation/contractor coordination experience (asset)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace & Microsoft Office
  • Quebec driver’s licence
