Tiohtià:ke Creative Circle
We’re inviting Two-Spirit, queer, and Indigenous LGBTQIA+ artists to join a new creative cohort grounded in community, collaboration, and growth.
This is a space to develop your practice alongside other queer indigenous artists. Whether you’re a performer, tech crew, visual artist, writer, musician, clown, or interdisciplinary artist, we want your vision and voice.
What you can expect:
- A small, supportive cohort of 5-9 fellow artists
- Opportunity to learn the principles of the Kayanerenkó:wa, the Great Law of Peace of the Kanien’kehà:ka
- Facilitated sessions focused on creative development and exchange
- Space to explore your practice in a culturally-grounded, relational environment
- Opportunities for mentorship, feedback, and collaboration
- The opportunity to collectively design and produce a cabaret-style show during Pride Week
Who this is for:
- Indigenous 2SLGBTQIA+ creatives
- Emerging to mid-career artists
- Interested in community, collaboration, and collective growth
