Virtual Studio
Indigenous-serving program
The Wapikoni Virtual Studio is an initiative enabling Indigenous artists to engage in audiovisual creation activities (short films, screenplays, podcasts) from their own communities. In the form of mentoring, participants receive personalized support from professionals in the development of their projects. Focusing on artistic expression, technical skills development and the valorization of Indigenous narratives and cultures, this initiative combines learning and creation, while facilitating access to professional resources at a distance.
Three virtual cohorts are held each year, each lasting 6 weeks.
Interested participants must complete the call for projects form to apply. Six participants are selected per cohort.
