Join the NETWORK for our upcoming gathering titled “Eyes Wide Open: Community Initiatives Supporting Indigenous Peoples Experiencing Homelessness in Montreal”.
This gathering aims to bring together community members, organizations, institutions, and governments to address the pressing issue of Indigenous peoples facing homelessness in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal and work collaboratively towards effective solutions.

What’s happening:
- The NETWORK will be launching the 2024 report titled “From Our Eyes to Yours: A Closer Look at the Realities of Indigenous Peoples Experiencing Homelessness in Montreal”. This report aims to shed light on the challenges faced by Indigenous peoples dealing with precarious housing in Montreal.
- Presentation of 10 new and innovative projects led by community organizations to prevent homelessness and address the needs of Indigenous peoples facing housing instability.
The registration deadline is April 18, 2024.
More details
- The event will be catered by Chef Swaneige Bertrand.
- Indigenous artisans will be exhibiting and selling their craft work.
- There will be artistic performances by local Indigenous talent.
- At the event, we will address crucial topics such as homelessness, addiction, and mental health, which we anticipate may be challenging or triggering for some community members. As such, there will be elders and support workers on-site.
- Please note that this event is for people age 18+.
