For the love of Youth
You would like to develop a project but you don’t know where to start? The NETWORK is inviting you to share your thoughts.
“For the Love of Youth” will be an event dedicated to diving deeper into the topics urban Indigenous youth are passionate about by collectively brainstorming and developing projects that answer community needs.
Your role as a Youth Advisor is to co-create solutions to issues that directly affect you and other Indigenous community members in the Greater Montreal Area. Your voice is essential in co-creating long-term and short-term solutions that help make Tiohtià:ke/Montreal a place where all Indigenous people feel a sense of safety, well being, and belonging.
You have the opportunity to work alongside Elders, mentors, knowledge-keepers, staff members, and wellness community workers! Youth advisors will have a safe space to share their experiences and knowledge in navigating different settler colonial systems, institutions, services, laws, etc.
