INDex launch
Come celebrate with the NETWORK!
We are happy to officially invite you to the INDex launch, under the theme of “Guiding Our Path: Indigenous ways of knowing and navigating”.
This is the culmination of years of hard work and valuable collaborations to create the INDex, a unique directory presenting essential information about services dedicated to Indigenous peoples in Tiohtià:ke. Whether it’s for Indigenous individuals living in or visiting the big city, or for frontline staff who work with them, the INDex represents a huge step towards cultural safety and a sense of belonging for our communities in Tiohtià:ke.
When: Thursday, May 8th, 2025, from 10 am to 4 pm
Where: Society for Arts and Technology, 1201 St Laurent Blvd, Montreal
What to expect:
- PRESENTATION OF THE INDEX – The origins of the project, key milestones and perspectives for the future.
- DISCUSSION PANEL – Navigation services: The reality seen from the frontline and needed developments.
- PORTRAIT OF SERVICES for Indigenous peoples in Tiohtià:ke: identifying areas of success and gaps to be filled.
Register quickly, spots are limited!

- The event will include a catering service provided by chef Swaneige Bertrand.
- Indigenous artists will exhibit and sell their crafts.
- Artistic performances, including a surprise musical act, will be featured!
- Please note that this event is reserved for people aged 18 and over.
- Registration is free, but mandatory. It helps us plan your attendance.
