The NETWORK will be present for Pride 2023

11 August 2023
Events

The Montreal Indigenous Community NETWORK is happy to announce that will be participating in the Pride events again in August 2023!

We will be present for the Pride Community Days, and for the Pride parade. Indigenous peoples in Tiohtià:ke, as well as partners and allies are invited to join us for both days!

Pride is an ideal opportunity for us to create and maintain connections with 2SLGBTQIA+ community members, and to raise awareness about their lived realities.

Come and say hello ! We want to connect with you and get to know you!

Pride Community Days

Friday, August 11, 2023 from 11:00am to 6:00pm

The NETWORK kiosk will be located on St-Catherine Street East, between Wolfe and Montcalm.

We will be distributing our Ally Toolkit, 2SLGBTQIA+ resource lists, and more.

Pride Parade

Sunday, August 13, 2023

We will be marching together on Rene-Levesque Street. We will coordinate a meeting at Dorchester Square Park, at the corner of Dorchester Square and Peel at 10:30am, and will be leaving for registration by 11:00am.

It is important to meet up with the NETWORK on time because we will be the 6th organization walking in the parade! Indigiqueer Circle and Native Montreal will be walking in front of us, and Quebec Native Women will be right behind us!

If you would like to march with us, email us at bobby@reseaumtlnetwork.com. This will help us organize and ensure that we have gathered all participants.
