Strategic directions 2018+
For over a decade, the NETWORK’s mission has been to improve the quality of life of Indigenous communities living in and around Tiohtiá:ke/Montreal through a coordinated and concerted approach. Today, more than 900 members adhere to our mission and this number is constantly growing.
In order to plan for the next decade, the NETWORK took a moment to look back to better project itself into the future. To do so, the coordinating team put in place a process to document the lessons learned in 10 years of action! This process was intended to celebrate the work done and the progress made, as well as to highlight the elements on which tomorrow’s possibilities could be built. It was in this context that the NETWORK set up a participatory process involving the coordinating structure, the different working committees and the members. The intention was to identify Strategic Directions together and to ensure that the NETWORK’s service offer reflects the aspirations, needs and reality of its members.
This document tells the story of this process, the learnings that came out of it and the Strategic Directions that emerged.
