Talent Acquisition Advisor
What if your next role allowed you to do far more than just recruit?
Nouveau Monde Graphite is looking for a Talent Acquisition Advisor to play a central and doubly strategic role: managing day-to-day recruitment activities (from intake to onboarding) while actively leading our approach to Indigenous talent attraction and inclusion.
This position is intended for an Indigenous person who wants to play a meaningful role in attracting, welcoming, and retaining talent, while contributing to a genuine transformation of recruitment practices.
You don’t need a traditional HR background to succeed here. What we’re looking for first and foremost is someone with a natural ability for human connection, a knowledge of Indigenous realities, a rigorous approach to follow-through, and the desire to build something meaningful. You will be trained and supported through the NISHINA program.
This role might be a great fit if:
- People quickly feel at ease and trust you.
- You can navigate multiple files at once without losing track, and you follow up rigorously, even when things are moving fast.
- You communicate with clarity, tact, and respect — both verbally and in writing.
- You may not have done it all yet, but you learn quickly, ask good questions, and don’t wait to be told what to do before moving forward.
- You like when your work has real impact — when it’s not just filling a function, but improving an experience, building bridges, and helping an organization grow.
Where You Could Thrive Here
You’ll be in a role where human relationships matter as much as structure. You’ll support people, collaborate with managers, influence ways of working, and contribute to an inclusion approach that goes well beyond recruitment in the traditional sense.
You won’t be left on your own. You’ll be supported, trained, and guided. The NISHINA program is designed for exactly that: helping you develop your skills, find your footing, and grow in the role.
You’ll also work alongside an internal resource person. In other words, we’re not asking you to carry this alone. We want to build it with you.
What We Value Most
More than a perfect résumé, we’re looking for someone who brings:
- A genuine quality of presence
- Reliability in follow-through
- A real openness to others
- Integrity in actions and words
- Initiative
- The desire to contribute to something greater than oneself
Experience in coordination, customer service, support, teaching, community work, or any other people-centred role may have prepared you well for this position. Experience in an industrial, mining, or high-growth environment can also be an asset, though it is not required.
What You’ll Find Here
- A permanent, full-time position
- A certified training in inclusive recruitment through the NISHINA program
- A paid 3-week onboarding period, followed by 1 year of ongoing support
- An environment genuinely committed to inclusion, equity, and reconciliation
- The opportunity to contribute to a meaningful, concrete, and structuring project
