2023-2024 Reports

30 June 2024
Official documents and reports

The theme of collaboration is at the heart of the 2023-2024 year! Indeed, it is by working in unity with our associates in the Indigenous sector and our financial partners that many initiatives targeting homelessness prevention and Indigenous youth are propelled to better serve our communities.

Our team is stabilizing, enabling us to consolidate several multi-year projects. Among others, this is the case for the Mental Health Program and the Winter Gear Distribution Project. In a similar spirit, the NETWORK’s longest-serving employee, Leilani Shaw, becomes Executive Director. Her invaluable knowledge of the needs of the Indigenous sector in Tiohtià:ke, and her unwavering conviction in the NETWORK’s mission and objectives, help us to move forward with a unified step. We’re stronger than ever!

The year ends on a high note with the release of our latest research report. Its official launch will bring together community members, Indigenous and non-Indigenous organizations, as well as various levels of government, to address the urgent situation of Indigenous peoples facing homelessness in Tiohtià:ke.

With the Urban Governance Project in full bloom, the imminent launch of INDex, and a renewed awareness strategy, the year ahead is bound to be just as fruitful!
